J ob Duties Outlined :
Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of the Neuromuscular Study Group, Inc. meetings and events including but not limited to the annual meeting which hosts approximately 275 national and international participants. (prepare budget, agenda book, meeting slides, AV company, production company, poster board company, t-shirts, name badges, signs)
Work with Sponsors to get commitments, sign LOA’s, correspondence and all deliverables.
Work with the Planning Committee with all particulars to the annual meeting including corresponding with all invited speakers and abstract submitters. Correspond with all potential and committed sponsors.
Make travel arrangements (including setting up travel company) and prepare and submit travel reimbursement requests in accordance with institutional policies and procedures. Correspond with meeting hotel for all meeting arrangements, including meals, abstract session, and events. Set up CME with CME partner and arrange for all disclosures.
Assist with grant proposal preparation and submission in accordance with institutional policies and procedures. Reconcile all grants after meeting.
Invoice, collect, deposit, and track annual membership dues and sponsor money and reconcile monthly with bank statements. Meet with the Treasurer to keep up to date on financials.
Prepare basic financial reports for NMSG officers and NMSG Accountant.
Work with the Executive Committee for quarterly meetings and correspond for new member and new trial approvals and other inquiries.
Work with the RRNMF Neuromuscular Journal for year abstract publication.
Work with the Fellowship Committee and correspond with the NMSG Fellow, ABF and AAN.
Create and send out monthly email newsletters.
Maintain the NMSG website including registration and all up to date information.
Maintain the NMSG email and gmail.
Required Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, with at least one year of relevant work experience. Experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.

Compensation Statement :
The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
