Job Duties
Support communication management : website updates, meeting agendas, handling study-related documents, and managing phone and mail correspondence.
Assist with maintaining program supplies, equipment, and maintenance agreements.
Coordinate meeting logistics : order food, prepare agenda, take minutes. Support staff with current and potential participant communications and recruitment.
Assist with research participant check-in / check-out.
Ensure compliance with research regulations and protocols.
Assist with data entry.

Work Environment
Able to work mornings with the possibility of some evening work on occasion.
This position is based in Kansas City, KS but the candidate may be required to work periodically at the research site located in Lawrence, KS.
Required Qualifications
Education : High School diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Experience :
Previous experience working in a clinical or research setting.
Experience with data entry.
Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Computer skills that are included but not limited to Microsoft Suite.

Compensation Statement :
The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
