Title : Senior Quality Assurance Specialist
Department : Risk Management
Reports to : Quality Assurance Supervisor
FLSA : Non-Exempt
Job Grade : 9
Job Purpose : Support and implement the process of identifying discrepancies to all applicable federal, state, local laws, as well as UKFCU Policies and Procedures. This position serves as an authority on the Quality Assurance team to support the department while assisting the Quality Assurance Supervisor on projects and potential training.
Essential Job Results :
JOB SPECIFIC RESULTS
- Perform as an authority regarding the Credit Union's loan and deposit policies, procedures, and processes to assist Quality Assurance personnel and other bank personnel, as a point of contact, support, and resource for additional information.
- Run monthly reports and select samples for the Quality Assurance team while periodically evaluating appropriateness of the prescribed sample sizes.
- Complete special projects and ad hoc assignments, as needed, to assist the Quality Assurance Supervisor.
- Execute cross training efforts of the Quality Assurance Department
- Evaluate new membership, account, and loan production to determine compliance with internal policy / procedures that conform to applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
- Maintain a working knowledge of current applicable regulatory compliance standards while remaining up-to-date on Credit Union policy and procedure requirements.
- Conduct a review of all documentation and systems while cross-checking core systems to ensure the quality and accuracy for member service. Determine whether the following has occurred :
Lending officers have acted within guidelines of lending authority,
GENERAL STAFF RESULTS
Clarifying the problem,
Maintaining an awareness of rates and terms, Credit Union changes to policy and procedure, industry trends, and technology,

This position allows for an optional hybrid work arrangement which includes a combination of both in-office and remote work arrangements. (Maximum of two days remote, three days in-office). To be eligible for the program, employees must complete a minimum of 90 days of continuous, regular employment, be in good standing, and submit a formal hybrid work application prior to being eligible for hybrid work, pending supervisor approval. Work schedules will be established by the employee's supervisor according to business needs. Working locations and schedules may be altered at management discretion.
Salary : $27 - $29
