Job Summary | The Pharmacy Cold Chain Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that the UK Specialty Pharmacy delivers high cost, temperature sensitive medications to existing UK HealthCare (UKHC) patients and any new incremental patients added through Business Development strategic initiatives with internal and external partners. This role will develop functionality and capabilities around design of effective cold chain pack outs, as well as coordinate, manage, and optimize distribution and shipment. This individual will be responsible for disseminating information and educating staff regarding evolving standards and advances in cold chain distribution to ensure medication safety and effectiveness, regardless of patient location. This position is a key component to successfully expanding the geographic service area of our existing specialty pharmacy mail order-based operations, decreasing risk associated to cold chain distribution and increasing customer confidence and loyalty by ensuring product integrity and patient safety. |
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage multiple tasks and/or projects while accurately completing routine functions in a fast paced, high intensity, professional work environment; knowledge of 340B, Pyxis, Autosplit, OrderExpress; proficient in Microsoft Office, to include Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; excellent attention to detail; exceptional planning and organizational skill; effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to solve routine problems and manage resources; and demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service, time management, and judgment. |
