As a Trauma / General Surgery APP at UK HealthCare , you’ll be an essential member of our multidisciplinary team, focused on providing exceptional, compassionate care to critically and acutely ill adults in our ICU, progressive care, and acute care areas. What You’ll Do :
- Patient Care : Manage patient care from ICU admission through step-down and discharge, delivering evidence-based practices to ensure safe, high-quality care.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration : Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other specialists to make well-informed clinical decisions.
- Comprehensive Role : Serve patients not only during their hospital stay but also, on occasion, in the outpatient setting during follow-up appointments, ensuring continuity of care.
- Clinical Excellence : Apply advanced medical and nursing knowledge with clinical and technical expertise to handle critical care interventions confidently.
- Documentation & Professional Growth : Ensure accurate, timely documentation and take responsibility for ongoing development, advancing your skill set and knowledge base.
