Required License/Registration/Certification
The Department of Athletic Training and Clinical Nutrition in the College of Health Sciences is looking for a motivated individual who can contribute to an ongoing research agenda and associated funded department of defense work investigating the impact of military training stressors and musculoskeletal injuries on physical performance and warfighter readiness. This effort includes a strong research agenda that incorporates a multidisciplinary approach and is dedicated to injury prevention and musculoskeletal health, rehabilitation, and human performance.
We are requesting this faculty position to serve as a Research Title Assistant Professor that will have primary obligations with a Department of Defense funded study operating out of Wilmington, NC. The activities shall be limited to performance of research in rehabilitation sciences focused on performance optimization under the SMRI . This person will be expected to assist in fulfilling the research objectives of the SMRI , to collaborate with other departmental and college faculty, and to work together as part of a multidisciplinary research team of faculty, staff, graduate student researchers, postdocs on the assigned research responsibilities. The anticipated effort for this position is 95% Research/Scholarship and 5% Service.
