40 hours per week; Mostly Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm but there will be some evenings and weekends.
Job Summary
This role will provide leadership and support to the Executive Director of CARES First-Generation to establish connections and promote services that will assist William C. Parker (WCP) Scholars in their persistence to degree completion. This position will oversee the strategic and operational leadership of the William C. Parker programs in the CARES First-Generation unit, including managing budgets, operations, program delivery, and assessment. This role focuses on enhancing the success of William C. Parker (WCP) Scholars by coordinating academic support services, monitoring student progress, and fostering engagement through data-driven decision-making and innovative programming. The Associate Director supervises professional staff that oversee Parker Scholars, providing mentorship, evaluation, and professional development while ensuring compliance with university policies. Additionally, they will oversee a caseload of Parker scholars, collaborate with stakeholders, and analyze student data to inform programming and retention strategies.
Student Success will, from the time of early college outreach to graduation and beyond, support students in living a life of meaning and purpose. From a student-centered framework, our practice will be grounded in peer-reviewed literature, national best practices, and data-informed decision making. Collaborating with the campus and community, Student Success will work through a holistic lens to support a diverse community of learners in achieving success.

Preferred Education/Experience
Prefer a Master’s level degree in Higher Education, Business, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in advising and supporting college populations with proven ability to establish and nurture collaborative working relationships.
