Job Summary The University of Kentucky College of Medicine Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is recruiting a board certified pathologist (MD / DO) to serve as the CLIA Laboratory Director and Director of Clinical Pathology. Board certification in Clinical Pathology or Anatomic Pathology and several years of leadership experience directing a laboratory or laboratory section, preferably within an academic medical center, is required. The successful candidate would have outstanding organizational and leadership skills and an expansive view of the role of clinical pathology in patient care and hospital leadership. The successful candidate would join an academic hospital-based practice and engage primarily in clinical service and teaching duties. Interested applicants are encouraged to participate in an active research program appropriate to title series and rank. This open-rank position is available immediately and will remain open until the appropriate individual is recruited.
