Physical Requirements
The physical requirements of this position include: occasionally lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to 25lbs; occasionally standing or walking with objects up to 10lbs; regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with regular repetitive motions (such as typing); Ability to travel to various locations on and off-campus as required for meetings.
Shift
Shifts will be scheduled for weekdays between 8 AM β 5 PM. Occasional early evenings may be required. 20 hours/week during the semester and up to 32hrs during summers.
Shifts must be a minimum of 2 hours long each and can be scheduled around classes.
Job Summary
UK Information Technology Services (UK ITS) seeks a motivated and detail-oriented student employee to support our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team. This role provides an opportunity for a student to gain hands-on experience in risk management, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance processes while contributing to key organizational initiatives. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, and interested in understanding how businesses maintain compliance and mitigate risks in a dynamic environment.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Must have excellent communication, time management and organizational skills. Must be able to meet deadlines. Expertise in Tableau Desktop or Server, creating dashboards, developing data visualization, performing data analysis, and/or designing databases a plus.
