Physical Requirements Lifting, pushing, or pulling objects up to 25 lbs., sitting at computer workstation for extended periods including data entry, some job-related travel Shift Monday – Friday; 8 : 00 a.m. – 5 : 00 p.m. (40 hours / week). Job Summary The Assistant Director for Federal Verification and Eligibility supervises three financial aid counselors who have responsibility for the processing of federal verification, eligibility confirmation, and professional judgment and SAP appeals, as well as financial aid counseling. The position provides oversight and resolves high-level customer service issues and concerns. The position balances OSFAS Counseling resources to adapt to the most beneficial student success model, as well as is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of financial aid counseling services and student aid delivery. Analyzes OSFAS Counselors’ workflows to identify and anticipate lulls and peaks and recommends modifications to OSFAS Counselors’ duties and schedules. This position works collaboratively with others who support OSFAS counseling efforts with developing tools to track, monitor, manage, and report on OSFAS.
