Nuclear Medicine Technologist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nuclear Medicine Tech to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials to aid in the evaluation of various medical conditions. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging results that contribute to patient care.

• $31.14 - $45.70/hr
• Monday - Friday, Day Shift with rotational on call after hours, holidays & weekends

Responsibilities

• Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Perform Nuclear Medicine exams, PET/CT scans and and therapeutic interventional procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Prepare and maintain equipment used for medical imaging, adhering to aseptic techniques.
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations by analyzing images and providing preliminary reports to physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to discuss patient history and imaging results.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures performed and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Educate patients about the procedures, addressing any concerns they may have.

Requirements:

• Degree from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program with training in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT preferred.
• Registered Nuclear Med Tech at time of hire; Basic Life Support certification via AHA within 90 days of hire
