None Physical Requirements The physical requirements of this position include regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time and performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing); standing for more than five hours at a time and possibly walking several miles per day; reaching items above shoulder-level; and lifting items weighing up to 25 lbs. Shift Primarily Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. – 5 : 00 p.m.; as an exempt-level position, some additional days, evenings, weekends, and / or holidays may be required in order to meet job and departmental business needs. Job Summary The Pharmacy Communications Coordinator is an experienced, highly motivated individual with outstanding interpersonal skills and a passion for driving timely, relevant content; creating compelling communications that tell Pharmacy’s story; and supporting the overall image of UK Pharmacy Services and UK Retail Pharmacies.
Successful candidates will be organized and self-directed with a strong understanding of marketing / communications principles and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Strong writing and editing skills are essential; familiarity design software and principles strongly preferred. Experience in publications, digital marketing and websites preferred.
Required Special Request : Writing and / or design sample Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, proven writing / editing abilities, understanding of digital platforms. Knowledge of AP style. Organizational skills, understanding of design principles, printing and mailing. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and design software is beneficial. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education / Experience Preferred Bachelor’s Degree with minimum of 3 years for work related experience.
