Job Summary :
The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine is seeking a Transplant Pulmonologist to serve as the Medical Director of a long-standing and expanding lung transplant program. This is an opportunity to join a world-class transplant program with more than 500 life-saving lung transplants completed, practice at a nationally ranked academic medical center, and enjoy the resources and reputation of the University of Kentucky, named a Best College by US News β UK HealthCare has been named the No. 1 hospital in Kentucky for 8 consecutive years.
Qualifications :
- M.D / D.O. or equivalent
- Eligible for a Kentucky Medical License
- Completed an accredited Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine fellowship
- BE / BC in both Critical Care and Pulmonary Medicine
- Fellowship in lung transplantation
- 3-5 years of experience in the care of lung transplant patients
- Eligible for primary physician certification with the OPTN
