Shift
Primarily dayshift; 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Hours/days subject to change based on support needs due to project and/or deadlines to be met.
Job Summary
This position acts on behalf of the Specialty Pharmacy Business Manager in non-policy making administrative matters. Serves as a liaison between Pharmacy Directors, UK HealthCare departments, as well as both campus and HealthCare staff. Works as part of the Specialty Pharmacy administrative team to analyze and ensure that the department remains compliant regarding appropriate legal, regulatory, contractual, and accreditation requirements. Participates in the day to day operations of the Specialty Pharmacy including scheduling of meetings, maintaining calendars, taking and typing meeting minutes and other correspondence as needed ; Prepares SOPs and presentations for departmental staff; liaise with internal and external vendors; processing and ordering supplies. Also works with Finance to monitor annual budget, schedule expenditures, analyze variances, maintain statistical and financial records, oversee proper cash handling procedures and deposits. Provides administrative support to maintain continual readiness and compliance for all accreditation standards of the Specialty Pharmacy (URAC, ACHC, Mail Order); maintains all employee files and audits for compliance to standards; completes all OIG and required verifications of staff including any licensures required for business initiatives; This role will ensure that best practices are followed for maximum efficiency and the most suitable working environment is attained for its employees and activities.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage multiple tasks and/or projects while accurately completing routine functions in a fast paced, high intensity, professional work environment; knowledge of SAP and Kronos scheduling/timekeeping; proficient in Microsoft Office; excellent attention to detail; exceptional planning and organizational skills; effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to solve routine problems and manage resources; demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service, time management, and judgment; and respect for confidentiality.

Preferred Education/Experience
Administrative and/or personnel support experience as well as payroll and/or timekeeping experience preferred. Healthcare administration/accreditation support highly preferred.
