Driver’s license Physical Requirements Travel is required to community pharmacies in Kentucky. Sitting and standing for long periods of time. Lifting and carrying up to 15lbs. Shift Approximately 20 hours per week. Job Summary The Phlebotomist will be responsible for assisting in the collections of specimens for infectious disease surveillance.
The position is based in the College of Pharmacy but will require collection at community pharmacies. The MLT will provide general laboratory receipt, processing, and throughput of patient specimens while adhering to HIPAA requirements. This is a team-oriented environment and a successful candidate will be able to problem-solve, troubleshoot, and multi-task.
This is a part-time position. Travel to community pharmacies is required. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
