None Physical Requirements Web Content Specialist Shift Monday – Friday, 8 : 00AM – 5 : 00PM (40 hrs / wk). Some occasional overtime. Job Summary The Markey Cancer Center, Research Communication Office is seeking a Web Content Specialist. This position supports the Markey Cancer Center, where a high priority is placed on providing all facets of the Markey community with timely information about the cancer center, and what it means to be an NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center. This Web Content Editor will serve as the day-to-day contact for the Markey website and online presence, enabling a better online experience for patients, caregivers, community members, potential donors, and researchers / faculty. Responsibilities include the daily updates of content on the Markey site, assisting to create new content for website when needed; collaborating across departments and colleges (especially core Markey staff, UK HealthCare marketing, and UK Public Relations); and maintaining existing features of the site as well as suggesting improvements. Superior writing and editing ability, attention to detail, experience managing broad-based web sites and excellent Microsoft Office skills are required.
This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.
