What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Data Coordinator position at University of Louisiana Monroe?
The Accounting Data Coordinator reports to the Associate Controller. This position coordinates the collection of accounting data in the preparation of financial records, reports and statements in conjunction with the operating of the Banner Finance system.
- Reconciles statements and accounts related to Travel cards which includes maintaining clear and open communication with all areas of the University and providing assistance as needed regarding Travel policies and Travel card activity.
- Reconciles various subsidiary ledgers to the general ledger.
- Prepares monthly and year-end journal entries.
- Runs queries to extract and compile data.
- Reconciles bank accounts.
- Develops ad hoc reports requested from the Controller’s Office, Budget Office, Purchasing, Internal Audit and Legislative Auditors.
- Assists with the preparation of the Annual Financial Report.
- Performs miscellaneous job-duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
Salary : $45,000 - $49,000
