The Biology Program within the School of Sciences at the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM) is seeking an innovative Associate Professor to teach undergraduate and graduate courses beginning in Fall 2025. The School of Sciences offers a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in biology
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses during the fall and spring semester.
- Advise students and maintain records of student progress.
- Actively participate in recruitment and retention for the Biology degree program.
- Mentor graduate students.
- Assist in all areas of program improvement, including participation in curriculum development, evaluation, and assessment.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Candidates must be passionate about teaching undergraduates. Candidates should have a earned a PhD in Biology. Qualifications include:
- Innovative pedagogical approaches to teaching undergraduates from diverse backgrounds
- Coursework and/or experience in Biology or related field
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Body of work at the rank of associate professor
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
