The purpose of the Director for Football Operations job is to ensure the University assets are protected through applicable external and internal regulations.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Assist the Head Football Coach with the day-to-day management and administration of all aspects of the Football staff and team as allowed by NCAA rules; including, but not limited toCoordinating all aspects of team travelAssisting with camps and clinicsDaily support for football coachesAssisting with pre-season campCoordinate bowl operationsOversight and coordination of the weekly Quarterback Club luncheons for donors and other University and community guestsOversight and coordination of team meals for home games, weekends, and University holidays/breaksHelp ensure an environment that is committed to the best interests of all student-athletes consistent with their educational, ethical, social, and physical development.Foster a commitment to diversity and inclusiveness throughout all levels of the organization.Develop a clear vision and strategic plan for the department that will ensure the Departments’ success in being fiscally responsible while complying with all University regulations along with state and federal laws.Understand and communicate the value of athletics to the overall mission and strategic plan of the University to both internal and external constituencies.Effectively provide accountability for all matters within the department of athletics in collaboration with the Athletics Director.Additional duties as assigned by Director of Athletics or Head Football Coach.
