What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructor of Physics position at University of Louisiana Monroe?
The School of Sciences at the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM) is seeking an innovative Instructor to teach undergraduate courses beginning in Fall 2025.
- Teach undergraduate courses during the fall and spring semester.
- Advise students and maintain records of student progress.
- Actively participate in recruitment and retention for the degree program.
- Assist in all areas of program improvement, including participation in curriculum development, evaluation, and assessment.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Candidates must be passionate about teaching undergraduates. Candidates should have a earned a MS or PhD. in Physics
Qualifications include:
- Innovative pedagogical approaches to teaching undergraduates from diverse backgrounds
- Coursework and/or experience in Physics or related field
- Effective oral and written communication skills
Salary : $50,000
