The University of Lynchburg invites applications for the position of Administrative Coordinator within the School of Medicine and Health Sciences with a focus on the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program. This critical role supports the DPT program's mission and goals by providing essential administrative and organizational assistance. Reporting directly to the Director of the Physical Therapy Program, the Administrative Coordinator ensures the smooth functioning of program operations while fostering a professional and welcoming environment.
Key Program and School Responsibilities include:
- Manage Calendars and Scheduling: oversee calendars to coordinate exams, appointments, and other program-related activities, ensuring optimal efficiency and organization.
- Support Data Management: assist with the documentation, organization, and filing of assessment data for internal use and external reviews, including those conducted by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) and other accrediting agencies.
- Facilitate Collaboration: work closely with the program and school leadership, faculty, staff, and other University personnel to help achieve the program’s objectives and strategic goals.
- Serve as First Point of Contact: provide reception duties, projecting a positive and professional image while welcoming and directing guests and visitors.
- Monitor Financial Operations: support the program and school leadership in managing the budgets, tracking expenditures, and maintaining financial records.
- Assist Clinical Education: collaborate with the Director of Clinical Education in overseeing clinical agency contracts, contributing to the successful management of clinical partnerships.
