Statement: The University of Maine at Augusta is seeking qualified applicants for an adjunct instructor for a veterinary emergency/critical care medicine course on the Bangor campus. Applicants should be willing to teach both on campus (face-to face courses) as well as online. In addition to smart classrooms, our instructors have access to a complete surgical suite, large pre-surgical area, and digital radiography on campus to enhance student learning. Qualifications

Required:

  • Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited (AVMA) university
  • Current Maine State Veterinary license

Preferred:

  • A strong commitment to teaching
  • Demonstrated teaching skills
  • Previous teaching experience
  • Excellent communication skills with students, peers, administrations, staff, and the general public
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team setting

Salary: The salary range is per credit hour and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
