What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Coach - Men’s Basketball position at University of Mary Hardin-Baylor?
Responsibilities: Designs, implements and evaluates the Men’s Basketball program. Performs all related administrative duties as assigned, to include recruiting, travel, budget oversight, resource management and media communications
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be an active and committed Christian who will support the University’s mission and who will be an active participant in their local church.
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a basketball coach is required. Coaching at the collegiate level is preferred.
- Knowledge of NCAA and Conference rules and regulations.
- Basic competency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.) is required.
- Proficiency in general office equipment operation is required.
- Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
- Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable by UMHB auto insurance carrier.
- Must agree to the University’s Employee Statement of Understanding.
