Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT security specialist to join our team at the University of Maryland Division of Information Technology. As a Workday Security Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development, configuration, and oversight of the Security domain and subject areas to support Workday HCM, Finance, and Student modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and configuration of the Security domain and subject areas in Workday
- Oversight of the Security domain and subject areas to ensure compliance with university policies and regulations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement security best practices
- Maintain knowledge of emerging security threats and technologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Three years of professional information technology experience
- One year leading or supervising professional staff
- Knowledge of UNIX Linux, BSD, AIX, Solaris, IDAP, Kerberos, Lan and Wan TCP/IP networking fundamentals
- Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, regulations, and laws
- Skill in oral and written communication
