Job Title: Workday Security Manager
Location: University of Maryland, College Park, MD
About the Role:
The Workday Security Manager will lead the development, configuration, and oversight of the Security domain and subject areas to support Workday HCM, Finance, and Student modules.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, configure, and oversee the Security domain and subject areas for Workday HCM, Finance, and Student modules.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure the secure implementation and operation of Workday applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Analyze and resolve security-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, technologies, and best practices to ensure the security posture of Workday applications remains strong.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Three (3) years of professional information technology experience, including one (1) year leading or supervising professional staff.
- Knowledge of UNIX Linux, BSD, AIX, Solaris, IDAP, Kerberos, LAN and WAN TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
- Knowledge of best practices in administration and customer service.
- Skill in oral and written communication.
- Able to multitask while demonstrating a commitment to customer service and sensitivity to a culturally and ethnically diverse community.
Preferred Qualifications:
- University of Maryland experience.
- Workday or modern SaaS ERP experience.
- ERP implementation experience.
