What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Health and Concierge Associate, Radiology position at University of Maryland Faculty Physicians, Inc?
Completes on boarding of new patients. Ensures effective facilitation by working with appropriate staff to streamline patient visits. Provides concierge services by serving as single point of contact for the department; and other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in field and/or related field, marketing experience preferred
- Three to five years of experience in healthcare environment
- One to three years of experience writing and editing documents
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1.Completes on boarding of new patient by coordinating phone consultation between patient and executive health physicians in order to customize the care of the patient based on wants, needs and medical history. When appropriate, this includes obtaining and ensuring medical records and/or test results are sent to physicians prior to visit.
2.Ensures effective facilitation by working with appropriate staff to streamline patient visit (i.e. registration, labs, x-rays, and referrals) prior to patient visit. Coordinates communication between treating physicians to ensure that physician-to-physician questions are answered and the patient received any needed referrals and prescriptions. Accompanies patient on day of visit optimizing all processes to ensure exceptional patient experience (reduce wait time and trouble shoot any problems).
3.Surveys patients to collect information and provide feedback to practice to improve quality of service and patient satisfaction. Utilizes established system to elevate identified concerns/problems to ensure resolution of current systemic issues.
4.Manages expenses to maintain a positive bottom-line for the program.
5.Develops strategies to gain new customers and establish relationships with existing customers to facilitate repeat business. Strategies may include creating print materials for targeted mailings, working collaboratively with IT to create a website, developing partnerships with local organizations and educating the practices about the program. Creates Executive Health presentations as needed.
6.Provides concierge services by serving as single point of contact for FPI practices for appointment scheduling and other needs. Responds to VIP patient requests in a professional and timely manner to achieve positive resolutions which includes but is not limited to; identifying the appropriate
physician, connecting patients to physicians, scheduling appointments, helping patients understand
options, gathering medical records and arrangement treatments. Provides high-level customer service by functioning as a communication link between patients, physicians and the practices.
Total Rewards
The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of University of Maryland’s Faculty Physician’s Inc. salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor and span of control, education/training and other qualifications.
