Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and oversee personalized physical therapy programs aimed at restoring patient function, enhancing mobility, alleviating pain, and preventing permanent physical disabilities due to injury or illness.
- Instruct patients on the effective use of assistive and adaptive devices.
- Educate patients on proper posture and therapeutic exercises to be continued at home.
- Assess, evaluate, and document patients’ activities and progress throughout their treatment.
- In-depth knowledge of physical therapy methodologies and treatment modalities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal capabilities.
- Proficiency in collaborative teamwork within a healthcare setting.
- Adaptability to meet the evolving needs of patients.
- A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Maryland is required.
- Experience in a clinical environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
