Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Medical Staff Coordinator. The role is primarily located in Baltimore, MD, but allows for some work-from-home flexibility. The Medical Staff Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the credentialing and re-credentialing process for medical staff, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and facilitating communication between various departments. Additional responsibilities include scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and assisting with the development of policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience in medical staff credentialing and understanding of regulatory requirements
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in using office software and databases
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field
- Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) certification is a plus
