Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join our team at the University of Maryland Medical System.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with the healthcare team
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Utilize evidence-based practice to inform decision-making and improve patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information
Qualifications:
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland, or eligible to practice due to Compact state agreements outlined through the MD Board of Nursing, is required
- More than 3 years of nursing experience. Solid knowledge and clinical skills
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Must meet all unit-specific certification requirements: (BLS)
