Job Overview
The University of Maryland Medical System is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the Interventional Radiology department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Operations: Coordinate daily work schedules and activities of the lab according to department needs.
- Equipment Operation: Operate sophisticated radiographic, fluoroscopic, portable, and interventional imaging equipment according to protocol and procedure.
- Patient Care: Prepare and administer oral and IV contrast media according to protocol, verify patient identity, and review requisitions for consistency.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology School.
- Registered by the ARRT and licensed by the state of Maryland.
- Successful completion of basic cardiac rhythm recognition course.
- Minimum one year of radiology experience and six months of interventional experience.
