Located in Largo in the heart of Prince George’s County, our new state-of-the-art regional medical center (UM Capital Region Medical Center) will provide improved access to primary and ambulatory care services, and serve as a tertiary care center for critically ill patients. In addition, our new space will allow us to expand our offerings as a community partner to help improve the health status of Prince George’s County residents.

Job Summary
The Executive Director, Foundation is responsible for the design, implementation, and marketing of all fund development for the Foundation, consistent with the Foundation’s mission and goals. This responsibility is performed in partnership with the Board of Directors and key volunteer leaders coordinating special programs and events.
Primary Responsibilities
The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification. They are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all job responsibilities performed.
- Directs and implements all development programs as approved by the Board of Directors and / or committees, including all special events and annual and major gift programs.
- Manages all Foundation public and media relations through promotional materials, news releases, photos, and other means of communication for all Foundation activities.
- Identifies and implements effective strategies to enhance the department's and the organization's financial performance.
- Coordinates databases, recordkeeping of all gifts, member participation, and identification of donor prospects.
- Develops key contacts within the community and interact cooperatively with UM Capital Region Health’s staff and constituencies.
- Compiles various Foundation reports, including those for fundraising and financial matters.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
