The University Of Maryland Medical System is seeking a highly motivated Imaging Specialist II to join our team at the Diagnostic and Imaging Center. As a key member of our imaging team, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized sonographic procedures.
Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of Sonographic principles and practices, including anatomy and physiology, physics, positioning and patient care skills.
- Participate in the Clinical Ladder Program, meeting and maintaining all Program standards and requirements.
- Document accurate patient care activity in various electronic health records systems.
- Maintain a safe and appropriate work environment, ensuring supplies and inventory are up to date and reporting related equipment/environmental problems in accordance with policy.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an approved and accredited Ultrasound Education Program.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification.
- RDMS Certification.
