We are seeking a dedicated Meal Center Attendant to join our team in Baltimore. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent food service while ensuring proper food handling, safety, and customer satisfaction in our meal center facility.
- Prepare and maintain serving stations, ensuring cleanliness and proper food presentation
- Serve meals to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Monitor food temperatures and maintain proper food safety standards
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks as needed
- Restock serving lines and condiment stations throughout service periods
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Process customer transactions accurately
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and team members
- Respond promptly to customer requests and concerns

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food Handler's certification (required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment)
- Previous food service experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for inventory and cash handling
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move frequently
- Strong attention to detail in food safety and sanitation practices
- Excellent team collaboration skills
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays as needed
- Must comply with all Maryland state food safety regulations

Pay Range: $17.34-$20.89
