We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant II to join our Women's Health practice in Towson. In this role, you will provide comprehensive clinical and administrative support while delivering compassionate care to our patients in a fast-paced women's health setting.
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures specific to women's health
- Perform patient intake procedures including vital signs, medical history, and documentation
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure proper documentation
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments
- Coordinate laboratory services and manage test results
- Provide patient education and answer clinical questions within scope of practice
- Process referrals and assist with care coordination
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety protocols

- Current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid CPR certification
- Minimum of 2 years of medical assistant experience
- Previous experience in women's health or OB-GYN setting preferred
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic medical procedures
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor with a compassionate and empathetic approach
