Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Sonographer II to join our team. This role involves performing routine and specialized sonographic procedures under general supervision. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of sonographic principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform routine and specialized sonographic procedures, executing clinical competence in sonography.
Apply knowledge of sonographic principles and practices to meet organizational infection prevention standards.
Document accurate patient care activity in electronic health records systems.
Maintain a safe and appropriate work environment, ensuring adequate supplies and inventory, and reporting related equipment/environmental problems according to policy.
Contribute to departmental and organizational performance improvement initiatives and efforts to enhance workflows, patient experience, and quality.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved and accredited ultrasound education program.
At least 1 year of clinical independent RDMS experience.
Certifications:
Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification.
RDMS Certification.
Additional Requirements:
RDMS certification with additional RVT certification within 1 year (preferred).
