Regulatory Compliance : Utilize comprehensive knowledge of cardiac sonographic principles, including anatomy, physiology, and patient care, while adhering to all relevant regulatory standards, including Joint Commission guidelines.
Accurate Documentation : Maintain precise records of patient care activities and imaging results using various electronic health record systems, ensuring clear communication and continuity of care.
Work Environment Maintenance : Ensure a safe working environment by managing supplies, monitoring inventory, and promptly reporting any equipment or environmental issues in line with established policies.
Professional Growth : Engage actively in departmental performance improvement initiatives and contribute to enhancing workflows, patient experience, and overall quality. Participate in educational and training activities for both staff and students.
Qualifications
Education : Completion of an approved and accredited Ultrasound Education Program.
Experience : A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in cardiac sonography.
Licensures / Certifications : Current RDMS Certification or CCI Certification, along with Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification.
