Job Description Summary
Organization's Summary Statement: This position coordinates the video needs of the fall, winter, and spring sports and leads. It directs the design and production of visual and audio materials, media, and web communications used by the fall, winter, and spring programs. Oversees the creation of photo, video, and layout design needs for the fall, winter, and spring programs. Required to work non-standard hours and travel to numerous athletics and related events. Establishes and implements design and format standards and processes to produce consistent and high-quality results. Manages and produces motivational videos, recruiting videos, and other related projects throughout the year. Creates, organizes, and presents to coaching staff videos of team practices, opponent performances, and scouting videos. Selects outside or contract vendors and approves and coordinates projects. Participate in conceptualizing and collaborating with departmental units and coaching staffs on compelling video stories to be produced across the athletics department. Other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands: The scope of the position frequently requires evening, weekend, and holiday work (non-standard work hours). While performing the essential functions of the job, the employee operates a computer and other office devices such as telephones, copy machines, fax machines, etc.; constantly moves about the facility and event site before, during, and after events to service clients; and continually communicates via telephone, email, and in person with others to exchange accurate information. Standing, walking, kneeling/crouching, balancing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Preferences: Collegiate or professional sports production experience with provable experience in 3 and 4D compositing. Demonstrated ability in videography and lighting. Proficiency with Mac systems and Adobe Creative Suite Ability to produce and create exciting audiovisual mediums

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Experience: Three (3) years of experience in athletics, multimedia, broadcasting, or video production. Other: Additional work experience as defined above may be substituted on a year for year basis for up to four (4) years of the required education. Knowledge of collegiate athletics. Knowledge of digital editing systems, a variety of video cameras, and recording equipment. Skill in oral and written communication. Skill in the use of Microsoft Office products. Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, regulations, and laws. Ability to multitask while demonstrating a commitment to customer service and sensitivity to a culturally and ethnically diverse community.
