Position Summary / Purpose of Position :

The University of Maryland Institute for Health Computing (IHC) seeks an Illustrator / Animator to generate 2D illustrations, infographics, and 3D animations for research proposals, research papers, presentations, website content, and more. The Illustrator / Animator will create detailed, accurate, and aesthetically pleasing illustrations and animations that can effectively communicate complex concepts in medicine and computing.

This position requires strong interpersonal skills; the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet budgets and timelines; and a dedication to producing high-quality, creative final products.

The Illustrator / Animator will work onsite at the IHC offices in North Bethesda, Md.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Illustration, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Three years of professional illustration experience.
