What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursing Education and Research position at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth?
Required Skills and Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must have an earned research doctorate in nursing or a related field, a Master's in nursing degree or its equivalent, and an RN license in Massachusetts or eligibility for licensure. You must also have a successful record of teaching across undergraduate and graduate levels, using face-to-face and online pedagogies. In addition, you must have a robust program of funded research in areas such as global public health, social determinants of health, community-based management of populations with chronic illness, informatics, social justice, health equity and health disparities, and community-engaged or participatory approaches.
Preferred qualifications include completed postdoctoral research training and advanced specialty certification in your area of expertise. PhD candidates will be considered, but their PhD degree must be conferred by August 1 prior to the September start date. A letter from the applicant's faculty advisor confirming anticipated degree conferral date must be submitted with application materials.
