Minimum Qualifications (Required) : PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a closely related field Good track record of research and publications Strong background with device fabrication in a cleanroom environment Familiarity with RF / microwave measurements Experience with device simulation tools (e.g. Silvaco Atlas, Synopsis Sentaurus, ADS) Additional Considerations : A minimum number of 3 peer-reviewed journal publications in the field Ability to work independently, with limited direction, as well as within a team environment Ability to mentor and inspire students with limited research experience Preferred Qualifications : Experience with electron-beam lithography Special Instructions to Applicants : Only current UML employees within the Grants and Contracts bargaining unit will be considered during the first 10 business days of the posting.
