We seek an exceptional Program Coordinator to lead our cultural centers, providing direction and leadership for educational and social programming, community-building initiatives, and wellbeing services.
">- Reporting to the Associate Director, the successful candidate will oversee four campus-based cultural centers: Josephine White Eagle Cultural Center, Latinx American Cultural Center, Malcolm X Cultural Center, and Yuri Kochiyama Cultural Center.
- Develop innovative programs and training focused on cross-cultural engagement, wellbeing, and community building, collaborating with student organizations, academic departments, and other campus units.
- Supervise a team of student staff, managing budgets, marketing, student payroll, purchasing, event schedules, sponsorship requests, space reservations, and cultural center projects.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative and technical skills, including experience with Microsoft Suite and valid driver's license. A bachelor's degree and two years of combined work experience in event management, program development, or student success services are required. Experience working in higher education and bilingual candidates are preferred.
