Job Title: Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical
Department/Division: Pediatrics/Neonatology
The Department of Pediatrics Division of Neonatology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine seeks a full-time faculty member. Candidates will be at the assistant/associate professor level of the clinical educator track. Individuals must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Florida, board certified in Pediatrics, board certified/eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, and have demonstrated expertise in clinical care, teaching, and research. Duties to include providing direct patient care to pediatric patients at the 250-bed Holtz Children’s Hospital at Jackson Memorial Medical Center, Jackson North Medical Center, Jackson South Medical Center, and other clinic (including satellite) sites. Inpatient consult coverage and weekend on-call service also included. Additional desirable skills include expertise in quality improvement research and the ability to communicate in Spanish and/or Creole.
