General Purpose of Job:
Working as part of a team to provide quality patient care and assist with the daily functions of the physician clinic.
Essential Duties:
This job description is intended to cover the minimum essential duties assigned on a regular basis. Caregivers may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned by their leader. Leadership has the right to alter or modify the duties of the position.
- Assist with patients

Education | * High School Diploma, (2) GED or (3) the successful completion of twelve grades combined with the continued enrollment in an Early College Program * Graduate of an accredited Cardio Tech, EMT, Paramedic, or LPN program OR Course completion of one of the following programs: Medical Assistant, Armed forces medic program OR 6 months documented Medical Assistant experience in similar clinic setting. |
Specialized Knowledge and Skills | Required: * Mobility required * Ability to work as part of a team to provide quality patient care * Demonstrates a positive team attitude and has interpersonal skills to effectively and appropriately communicate with clients, families, providers, and co-workers * Necessary visual and auditory acuity to monitor patient's condition and operate department equipment Preferred: * RMA/CMA preferred * 6 months of clinical experience preferred * Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) preferred |
