Job Summary
The Research Program on Cognition and Neuromodulation-based Interventions (RP-CNBI), led by Dr. Benjamin Hampstead is looking for a full-time Research Technician Associate. The program's mission is to provide non- pharmacological treatments for persons with neurologic injury and disease. We focus on methods to assist older adults with a variety of cognitive impairments, using neuropsychological theory, modern neuroimaging methods and a range of non-pharmacological treatments, such as cognitive rehabilitation and brain stimulation. The successful candidate will perform a range of tasks to support multiple research projects. It is expected that you will perform all study-related tasks. Opportunities to assist in the creation of posters, papers, and presentations for scientific meetings may be available. You will handle other scientific administration and clerical activities as directed to support the Research Program, including coordinating with other researchers throughout the health system. The primary emphasis for this research position include 1) recruitment and screening of participants 2) enrollment and the informed consent process 3) completion of study visits 4) data entry.

Responsibilities*
- Screen and recruit study participants
- Enroll and conduct informed consent process
- Administer neuropsychological testing or neuromodulation
- Enter data into secure database
- Act as liaison with other study teams
- Other duties as needed to support the Research Program Manager/Director and supported studies
- Team members are expected to work well in a group setting and participate in the resolution of operational problems, apply policies, procedures, and methods, while maintaining confidentiality
Required Qualifications*
- A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Health Science or health related field, or equivalent combination of education & experience
- Research experience
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to work in a group setting
- Driver's license and reliable transportation
- Outstanding organizational and record-keeping skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Available to work occasional evenings and weekends as necessary to support the program
To be considered for the Research Technician Intermediate level applicants must also have:
- One year of full time research experience
Desired Qualifications*
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience working with older adults or research participants
- Experience administering and scoring neuropsychological tests
- EEG, fNIRS, tDCS or TMS experience
- Demonstrated understanding of Good Clinical Practice and HIPAA

M-F 8-4:30, but hours may vary depending on participant schedules with occasional evenings and weekends.

Background Screening
