Hematology / Oncology- Hospitalist
University of Minnesota Physicians is seeking a Hematologist / Oncologist to join our Cancer Care team in Edina and Burnsville, MN. This position will exclusively see hematology and oncology patients in the hospital setting.
Position Highlights :
- Flexibility to be scheduled Monday through Sunday 7 days on 7 days off, or Monday through Friday 5 days on, with weekend rotations as a part of the Medical Oncology group call rotation.
- Provides consultative services for hematology and oncology patients between Ridges Hospital in Burnsville and Southdale Hospital in Edina.
- Work with our comprehensive Cancer Care teams at each site, with coverage from clinic Hematologists / Oncologists for consult during off weeks and hospitalists admitting.
- You’ll find collaborative relationships with our larger group practice of Hematology / Oncology specialists within the academic health system centered at the University of Minnesota.
- Access to tumor boards and clinical trials through the University of Minnesota.
- Leverage a multi-disciplinary approach with a variety of on-site specialists and ancillary support including RNs, Case Managers, and Pharmacists.
