What you will do as a Scheduling Coordinator:
- Serves as a single point of contact for coordinating care before a surgery, procedure or treatment
- Collaborates and effectively communicates with patients, caregivers, providers, schedulers, and other care team members
- Monitor and manage work queues
- Identify potential issues that could complicate care (i.e. insurance issues, adherence concerns)
- Partners with customers to resolve questions, and concerns
- Follows standard processes and workflows to ensure safety and reliability
- Deliver a consistently high level of service, and goes above and beyond to assist customers
- Review and respond to patient messages sent to the Epic in-box or through MyChart
- Gather and document information to help facilitate communication between the patient/caregiver and care team
- Ensure messages are addressed within standard timeframes, and escalate issues that need prompt attention
- Review chart to piece together important information for the patient and provider.
What you will need:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of experience in a medical setting
- 1 years of experience in customer service
Location: Remote
Hours: 1.0 FTE

Compensation:
20.00 - 29.00 USD Hourly
