At MU Energy Management, we power the future! We are responsible for producing, purchasing, and delivering vital utility services across the University of Missouri campus. Our advanced district energy system, centered around the state-of-the-art Combined Cooling, Heating, and Power Plant (CCHP), generates steam, chilled water, and electricity to heat, cool, and energize over 17 million square feet of academic, research, athletic, and healthcare buildings.
Beyond powering the campus, we also install and manage cutting-edge building automation systems that optimize energy consumption across the university. Key Responsibilities:
- Provides professional engineering services to meet client requests/needs and to manage the day-to-day activities of other project team members.
- Program and commission mechanical HVAC control systems.
- Produce HVAC control drawings and sequence of operation for campus needs.
- Provide engineering support for the HVAC installation and service control technicians.
- Review project documents to ensure heating and cooling mechanical systems meet campus energy/design standards.
- Manage control system database.
- Work with engineering student interns.
- Assist with commissioning and testing and balancing efforts.
- Coordinate energy conservation efforts with projects, control upgrades, and fault detection efforts.
- Provide engineering support for the campus card access system.

A Bachelor's degree from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
- Experience with HVAC systems controls and programming
- A valid driver's license is required.
Salary Range: $51,875 - $94,141 per year
