Job Description
The University of Missouri’s Center for Academic Success & Excellence (CASE) is in its’ 30th year supporting students in order to receive a good return in terms of increased retention, persistence and graduation. CASE is seeking to hire a passionate professional to help uphold the mission to promote the academic and personal success of the students served.
We’re seeking a self-driven individual with exceptional interpersonal skills who is able to manage multiple priorities while establishing relationships with students and supporting the interests of CASE and CASE staff.
Responsibilities
CASE provides exciting and rewarding opportunities for the students served and you could play a key role in their success. Main responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
8:00am - 5:00pm, with occasional evenings and weekends required
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (including): Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point;
Good Organizational and communication skills;
Reasonable knowledge of University policies, rules and regulations.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $15.00 - $23.87 per hour
Grade: GGS-006

Responsibilities
CASE provides exciting and rewarding opportunities for the students served and you could play a key role in their success. Main responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Establishing and maintaining overall soft and hard copy records management system for department (administrative, program & student records).
- Providing administrative support for the file server.
- Assisting with special projects and office events.
- Compiling reports.
- Taking and distributing minutes of departmental meetings.
- Serving as primary assistant to the Director of CASE, including management of travel arrangements.
- Completing various fiscal forms including travel / one card expense reports, payment requests, etc. to Shared Services.
- Supporting office staff and programming.
- Managing and supervising student employees within CASE: hiring, training (including orientation and standard office procedures).
- Purchasing and maintaining supplies and equipment ensuring adequacy for daily operations.
- Performing other duties as requested.
