Thompson Center or Autism and Neurodevelopment
Thompson Center or Autism and Neurodevelopment is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team in providing specialized care for children with autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
Job duties:
* Diagnose and manage common pediatric conditions and developmental disorders.
* Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with parents and caregivers
* Educate families about child development and health maintenance.
* Provide counseling on behavioral issues and developmental challenges.
* Conduct thorough physical and developmental assessments for children.
* Evaluate growth patterns and developmental milestones.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation of patient encounters.
* Monitor and document progress in developmental assessments.
* Share clinical documentation for review by collaborating physician.
* Work closely with pediatricians, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
* Maintain open communication with the collaborating physician for patient care.
* Refer patients to specialists as needed.
* Advocate for children's health and development within the community and healthcare settings.
* Participate in community outreach and education programs.
Shift Type: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Master of Science in Nursing degree. Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days. Must be granted a "Document of Recognition" from the Missouri Board of Nursing.
Hiring Range: $90,251-147,285
