The laboratory of Dr. Kathryn Moss is seeking multiple highly motivated postdoctoral fellows to join our team. Our lab is part of a growing neuromuscular research community through the NextGen Precision Health Initiative and postdoctoral fellows will benefit from a vibrant and highly collaborative lab environment. The Moss lab is focused on identifying molecular, cellular and systems mechanisms driving pathogenesis of the most common inherited peripheral nerve disease, Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT) with the goal of facilitating therapy development for this debilitating disease. We use a variety of techniques including transgenic mouse models, cell culture, mouse neuromuscular behavioral assays and nerve conduction studies and widefield/confocal/electron microscopy.
Postdoctoral fellows will be an important part of an interdisciplinary team and develop skillsets supporting their transition to independence including mentoring students and grant writing.
100% on-site work.
PhD or equivalent in neuroscience, cell biology or related discipline.

Salary is commensurate with experience starting at NIH pay scale.
